Whilst working at Aykroyd & Sons as a  junior designer I have worked in multiple teams including the Nightwear retail team and Daywear team to create children's licensed apparel, for both boys and girls. Apparel categories include graphic tees, as well as key item fashion pieces such as dresses, loungewear and swim. For retailers such as ASDA, TU, Next, Matalan, M&S, Primark, Tesco and so on. This has included:​

• Submitting all designs to licensing to ensure everything is licensor approved before we start production

• Create tech packs for sampling and production 

• Collaborate with costing to ensure we're creating cost effective designs

• Participate in fittings with the Tech Team

• Create style numbers and finalize callouts on cads

• Shop the market for the latest and greatest ideas and freshness

• Find the white space, bring big ideas, and create trend driven designs

• Experience with design techniques and fabrications

• Understanding visual design and has a good understanding of color combinations

• Team Player and open to design changed 

• Having a keen eye for detail 

• Capable of designing into License with current trends in mind

• Capable of giving good direction to Graphic/Print artist

• Able to make deadlines

• Has exceptional organizational skills 

• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
