ABOUT ME
I’m Liv, a junior designer from the north west of England, living in London. I have always been passionate about fashion and love styling and creating designs for myself and others. I thrive off working under brands and designing from their ethos. Personally, there is nothing better than seeing someone in something I have designed! I love women's clothing and bringing a collection together to tell a story, from minimalistic prints and shapes to maximalist. I am very versatile and eager.
I have worked in a variety of design roles, from womenswear and childrenswear and navigated my ultimate love for prints/colour and shapes through my internship after University, at Oceanus The Label. After graduating from Liverpool John Moores University 2019, I was keen to get straight into the industry and start demonstrating my skills, working as a seamstress in my local town. Whilst interning for Oceanus, I developed my love for surface pattern design, I designed various new lines including nightwear, swimwear and activewear. Some of which were featured in Grazia Magazine, Forbes, Hello magazine etc and still sold online and various stockists.
I then went on to work for Aykroyd and Sons, the largest pyjama manufacturer in the UK, I worked with retailers such as Character.com, Asda, Tesco, and Tootonic. working on licensing with Disney, Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon etc.
I am dedicated, ambitious and hardworking and excel in researching, developing and designing across multi-product categories, including identifying key shapes for the season and key product opportunities.
